Origins & Roots D.el emerged in late 2016 as a unique fusion project under R.A.C Entertainment and TN Music, blending the high-energy aesthetics of K-pop dance groups with the traditional, soulful appeal of Trot music.
Formative Trials The group consisted of five members—Neulsom, Mini, Rita, Seora, and Hyunji—who navigated the competitive landscape of the Korean music industry during a period of rapid evolution for independent girl groups.
Breakthrough Moment Their debut single, "핫해 핫해" (Hot Hot), released on December 30, 2016, served as their primary introduction to the public, showcasing a vibrant performance style that aimed to bridge generational musical gaps.
Legacy Despite their short-lived tenure, concluding in 2017, the group remains a point of interest for fans of "nugu" (underrated) artists, representing the diverse and experimental nature of the mid-2010s K-pop scene.
Artistic Philosophy The members moved on to individual paths, with some pursuing modeling and other creative ventures, leaving behind a small but distinct footprint in the history of independent Korean idol groups.
