Origins & Roots ikling (아이클링) emerged as a visionary rotational project girl group under CodeM Entertainment, conceived by composer Son Dayeon through an innovative crowdfunding campaign on Tumblbug. The name itself is a brilliant portmanteau combining 'Idol' and 'Sparkling', encapsulating a concept designed to constantly refresh its artistic canvas and deliver effervescent musical experiences to global fans.
Training & Development Operating on a dynamic rotational model, the group bridges independent artistry and structured idol training. Members are carefully curated across multiple generations, bringing diverse backgrounds ranging from indie soloist careers, underground idol circuits, and survival show competencies into a unified creative incubator.
Breakthrough & Ascension The group officially debuted on April 28, 2023, with their digital single 'Stargram'. By introducing distinct generational lineups—transitioning from their foundational 1st generation through the 2nd generation 'Klingvitation' era and expanding into the 3rd generation reveal—ikling consistently redefined the boundaries of indie-backed pop music in South Korea.
Landmarks & Acclaim Across its various generations, members have built remarkable solo discographies, streaming followings, and multidisciplinary portfolios spanning pilates instruction, Twitch broadcasting, and self-composed singles. Their ability to sustain fan engagement through crowdfunding and interactive digital releases highlights a resilient, modern paradigm of idol management.
