Origins & Roots Emerging from the vibrant and experimental corners of South Korea's digital underground, NEVER SOBER SON established his artistic footprint in the late 2010s. Born on December 21, 1998, under the sign of Sagittarius, his early life was immersed in the evolving currents of global hip-hop and internet culture, shaping an unfiltered perspective on music creation.
Formative SoundCloud Era Unlike artists groomed through traditional K-pop corporate trainee systems, NEVER SOBER SON took the independent route, anchoring his output directly to SoundCloud. Starting in early 2017, he began uploading raw experiments, culminating in his official platform debut with the gritty rap track 'wott' in July 2017.
Underground Breakthrough Defining his signature sound through lo-fi aesthetics and unpolished emotional delivery, he steadily built a dedicated digital following. Releases such as '감수' in late 2021 and 'Crack' in early 2022 showcased his evolving lyrical depth and distinctive atmospheric production style.
Collaborative Craft & Production Beyond his solo vocal work, NEVER SOBER SON expanded his footprint as a producer, notably crafting the beat for HIGHSAWKID's 'YA YA YA YA OUU!'. His collaborative network reflects a tight-knit community of independent Korean underground acts, including WINNERFROMSINNER, Bumby, and millkissdrip.
