Origins & Roots 4CE (èissi) emerged as an ambitious Indonesian trainee group under 2plus Entertainment, designed to introduce a fresh, synchronized boy group dynamic into the burgeoning Indo-Pop scene. The moniker itself carries a poetic and evocative philosophy: four distinct youths carrying four unique lights, converging together to form the single brightest illumination. The ensemble brought together diverse talents from across the Indonesian archipelago, each member contributing distinct cultural backgrounds and specialized artistic proficiencies.
Training & Formation Formed in early 2021, the group's lineup was meticulously assembled with Petrick serving as the foundational leader, joined by Melky, Ficho, and King. Throughout their pre-debut journey, each member was introduced through carefully curated promotional rollout phases and individual introduction clips that highlighted their raw potential. Petrick showcased his smooth vocal timbre covering MeloMance, Melky demonstrated his seasoned vocal pedigree, Ficho brought sharp rap delivery and beatboxing skills, and King displayed his impressive multi-instrumental prowess.
Breakthrough & Ascension Although 4CE operated primarily as a pre-debut trainee unit, they rapidly captured the attention of Southeast Asian pop enthusiasts through their active social media presence, engaging TikTok content, and dedicated fan voting polls. Their distinct official colors—Deep Magenta, Yellow Canary, Coral Red, and Dodger Blue—gave each member a recognizable identity that fostered strong individual fanbases and substantial online engagement.
Legacy & Cultural Impact Despite their activities entering a period of obscurity around 2023 with their official status becoming unknown, 4CE left an indelible imprint on the landscape of Indonesian idol traineeship. Artistic Philosophy The essence of 4CE remains rooted in collaboration, individual diversity, and relentless aspiration. Even as their path took unexpected turns, the members' early dedication to vocal training, choreography, and instrumental mastery stands as a testament to the vibrant ambition driving the new wave of Indonesian pop culture.
