Origins & Roots Born and raised in the vibrant metropolis of Seoul, South Korea, CROQ developed an early fascination with the intricate mechanics of musical production and songwriting. Growing up in an environment where modern culture and traditional values intersect, he found his voice through rhythm and melody, laying the foundation for a lifelong dedication to the auditory arts.
Formative Years & Discovery Navigating the fiercely competitive landscape of the South Korean music industry, CROQ honed his craft through rigorous self-training and independent exploration. Rather than following conventional trainee routes, he chose a path of absolute creative autonomy, mastering both vocal performance and studio production to establish a distinct artistic identity.
The Breakthrough In 2015, CROQ officially stepped onto the musical stage with his debut digital single album '휑해'. This milestone release showcased his soulful vocal timbre and sophisticated production sensibilities, marking his entry into the underground and indie R&B/hip-hop circuits as a promising young creator.

Legacy & Artistic Philosophy Today, CROQ embodies the modern DIY ethos of the Korean music scene. Balancing the dual roles of performer and executive, his philosophy centers on uncompromising authenticity, resilience against industry pressures, and an enduring commitment to pushing the boundaries of independent Korean music.
