From an early age, he gravitated toward the rich textures of R&B and hip-hop, laying the foundation for a distinctive musical identity that would eventually carve out a unique lane in the Korean mainstream and underground scenes.
Early Trials & Group Endeavors Before establishing his celebrated solo presence, Junggigo honed his craft through various formative milestones, including his time as a member of Seoul Star in 2005. Breakthrough & Global Ascension His official solo debut on December 22, 2008, with the single 'byebyebye' marked the beginning of his rise. However, it was his legendary collaborations—most notably the smash hit 'Some' with Soyou—that catapulted him into global superstardom, dominating charts and redefining contemporary K-pop duets.
