He attended prestigious arts institutions including the National Taiwan University of Arts, sweeping national dance competitions with top honors in folk, classical, and modern categories. Driven by a childhood fascination with K-Pop sparked by sibling dance covers, he auditioned and trained rigorously, spending over a year honing his idol skills. His determination caught the attention of major scouts, leading him to transition from traditional performing arts into the high-stakes world of Korean pop trainees.
Breakthrough & Global Ascension Rui's international breakthrough arrived when he stepped onto the Mnet survival stage in 2023 for 'Boys Planet'. As an individual trainee, he captivated millions of global viewers with breathtaking performances in evaluations like 'Over Me' and 'Tiger Inside'. His unique artistry, characterized by ethereal lines and emotional depth, has positioned him as a generational dance virtuoso.
