Origins & Roots Formed under the creative vision of singer and composer Yang Sungjeung, SKYGIRLS emerged as a distinctive cross-border girl group based in South Korea, comprising entirely of Japanese members. Rooted in an ambitious cross-cultural exchange, the ensemble brought together diverse artistic backgrounds from Tokyo to establish a unique presence within the vibrant K-pop ecosystem.
Training & Auditions Handpicked through rigorous scouting and audition processes managed by SKY Entertainment and ONETOP Entertainment, the four members—Karina, Runa, Mirai, and Saya—underwent intensive preparation in Seoul. Balancing intense vocal and choreography training, they adapted quickly to the demanding standards of the South Korean entertainment industry.
