Origins & Roots Born as Luo Ruihua in the coastal city of Xiamen, Fujian province, Xu Ziyin nurtured a deep artistic sensitivity from a remarkably tender age. Growing up amidst the coastal breezes, she began recording vocal covers by the time she was just twelve years old, laying the foundational discipline for her future musical career. Her early childhood was marked by quiet observation and an innate passion for sound, which eventually steered her toward serious classical vocal training in belcanto.
Training & Academic Excellence Demonstrating extraordinary dedication, Ziyin balanced intensive vocal studies with rigorous academic pursuits, ultimately earning admission into the prestigious Beijing Film Academy's School of Performing Arts. There, she honed her theatrical and musical craft, securing a bachelor's degree before continuing into master's level studies. Her exceptional talent did not go unnoticed during her formative years, catching the attention of major entertainment agencies including JYP, SM, and Cube, though her commitment to academic completion kept her focused primarily on her scholarly foundation.
Breakthrough & Global Spotlight Ziyin stepped into the public consciousness through high-profile competitive survival platforms, starting with Dragon Television's 'The Next Top Bang' before capturing international adoration on iQIYI's global phenomenon 'Youth With You 2' and Mnet's transnational contest 'Girls Planet 999'. Her pristine vocals, characterized by effortless control and profound emotional resonance, positioned her as a standout vocalist. Although health challenges prompted her early departure from 'Girls Planet 999', her formidable performances cemented her reputation across Asian music markets.
Acting Acclaim & Artistic Multipotentiality Beyond her musical pursuits, Ziyin transitioned fluidly into television and film, establishing a prolific acting filmography with prominent roles in acclaimed dramas like 'Young Blood', 'Shining For One Thing', and 'A Beautiful Lie'. Her ability to inhabit complex, nuanced characters earned her widespread critical praise, allowing her to cultivate a diverse career that bridges chart-ready solo tracks with gripping dramatic performances on screen.
